The wind howld visiously and tore at the snow blanketed ground. Tree bent and gave to the wind. A lone pup, encrusted with snow, stumbled out of a tree stump, yipping and growling at the wind. Her blazing blue orbs squinted against the icy chill gusts of wind. She howled a tiny howl that was lost in the wind, carried to faraway places. She yipped. Her fur became encrusted with a mixture of ice and snow. She scooted back halfway into her trunk, then howled again, a howl that said 'came find me, I dare you!'

Not far off a steel-grey stag trotted along,he heard the howl then twitched his ears towards its direction. He followed his instincts until he came upon an open terra with a tree stump in the middle. Howling, he listened in for a reply howl, but the winds were blowing too hard to correctly hear much.

Tiny harks picked out the sound apart from the rest of the ice cold outside, and she howled a long, yipping melodic sound. She bounded out of the trunk and bounced on the snow, growling and yipping. Her pelt buffetted against her skin, sliding her backwards across the snow. She dugs her nails benath the encrusted layer of snow, and yipped loudly.

The stag stared at the little pup that had suddenly emerged. He stepped back a few paces away from the crazed pup to see what it's next move was. He barked back, answering her little yips. He then went into a fighting stance even though it was just a pup he didn't exactly feel like being attacked

The pup growled and launched forward only a foot, slipping on the hard sno. His nails clicked and scratched the snow, and she stopped about three feet in front of the stag and got into a fighting stance, and bared her canines with much feirocity.

He lowered himself a bit more as a growl erupted from his throat. Teeth bared and moving in,the stag then started to circle the pup. Emitting two more barks, he stared at the other wolf in the eye as he came closer.

Yipping and growling, the pup lept at his neck, her tiny needle-like canines gleaming. In her heart, she thought she could win, but her mind told her that this was a battle of either surrender or die.

The stag leapt out of the way at the last second,he knew that he needed to protect his neck at all costs. Years of expirence taught him that a bite in the jugular vein was fatal. Baring his teeth, the stag leapt at the pup with claws reached out. He truly didn't want to hurt the pup, but she wanted to fight and fight she'll get.

The pup growl-snarled, then rolled over onto her belly, flashing the white flag of surrender. No wolf would attack her now.

He tilted his head, squinting his eyes, he was a bit suspicous about her sudden surrender. He shrugged and quite, "Whats it to you?"

The pup stood up again, lowered it's head lower than before. Fire flickered in her eyes, and she growled in a simple reply. Dissappionted at having to surrender.
